Museum of Moving Image

Friday, June 20, 2014

The Museum of Moving Image offers free admission after 4 pm and it was such a surprisingly fun date idea! The place wasn't as crowded as I thought it'd be so we were able to look at all the exhibits without waiting or anything. The place is decent sized, three floors filled with a bunch of stuff to goof around on.

In the surrounding area there are a bunch of places to shop and eat and it's close by the train station so there's tons of time to kill until the free admission hour. Overall, a great place to hang around, especially since it was free!

BUBBLE BATTLE NYC

Sunday, June 15, 2014

Me and my friends decided to check out the Bubble Battle at Union Sq. and see what all the fuss was about. We got there late cause we did a little shopping at Beacon's Closet nearby (where I snagged brand new Steve Madden heels for $25!) and as we approached the crowd it seemed a little underwhelming. Just a bunch of people blowing bubbles...

But as we stood around we noticed all the little bubbles floating literally everywhere you saw, and the sight was so mystical against the surrounding buildings. It was hard capturing the bubbles on camera, so you have to be there in person to see it. There were a bunch of kiddies with those bubble guns and it was just nice seeing everyone have a good time- cause then again, who doesn't love bubbles?!

Museum of Sex

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

MoSex being on my list of Places to Go for a while, I'm glad we finally got to go. At the entrance they have their gift shops and they have a lot of cool sexy stuff to look through. The admission price was pretty steep, so look out for promotions or groupons. When we went, one of them was closed so that was a bummer even though we did get a bit of a discount. The overall exhibits were really interesting (Linda Lovelace exhibit) and who doesn't like raunchy art? But the place was small and it didn't seem worth the money we paid.

Downstairs where the bathrooms there was a random room filled with cool looking chairs so me and Mo started taking stupid pictures heheh ALSO there are free condoms! So yipeee
