CHEAP CLOTHES AT EXPRESS!!

Sunday, March 11, 2018
Hey y'all! I'm here today to show you the latest pieces I was able to pick up at Express these past few weeks using their rewards program called Express Next Rewards. You can sign up here and when you do, you'll receive a free $15 rewards to use within 48 hours when you fill out your profile!!

On top of that, you can get an extra $5 rewards when you opt in for text messages and right now they are giving away another $5 reward for filling out a quick survey about your body measurements. (You can combine rewards together but they will not give these sign up rewards at the same time.) I made three different accounts (hehe) and was able to reap in all of the wonderful rewards & benefits >:) All you have to do is provide your phone number associated with the account at the register!

They had an amazing sale in January clearancing out their winter items, but their clearance is still an additional 40% off in stores. I normally don't shop at Express, but these pieces ended up being so cheap and I am growing quite fond of their clothing now :)

$5 after the $15 rewards!

First thing I got was this grey chenille oversize sweater - SUPER soft and fuzzy! I wore it a couple of times but after a certain wash in the machine, some threads got loose and it's not as soft anymore...

$7.59 after the additional 40% off and $5 rewards!
Next is this white blouse, featuring puffy sleeves and a tie wrapped in the front. I normally would not go for tops that look like this, but I am going to Europe in a few weeks and thought this would be perfect for the trip! It's a subtly bold top and I can' wait to rock it with jeans like the model here.

$3.59 after $5 rewards and 50% off!
Then I got this lace up high waisted denim skirt - I couldn't find a bigger/better picture, but it features this corset lace up on the top and is a dark denim. It's really flattering and sucks everything in, so I can't wait to wear this when it gets warmer!

$6.99 after $5 rewards and 40% off
Lastly, I got this white sweater top featuring cut outs, cold shoulder and bell sleeves. Tops like these are typically too trendy for me, but I plan to tone it down with simple pieces.

Let me know if you have any questions! I don't know how long they will be having this promotion for signing up for their rewards so I suggest doing it as soon as possible. Have a lovely day everyone ~

Bed Bath and Beyond + Target Beauty Haul!

Saturday, February 10, 2018
Hey Y'ALL!!!

I am super stoked to be posting on this blog again! I haven't been posting in these past few years because I had taken a break from shopping/deal hunting and stopped having things to post but recently I've been finding a lot more great deals and realized that I would LOVE to start this up again and continue sharing whatever I have along the way.

So this is a beauty haul purchase that I've made a few weeks ago on January 26th. I'm not sure how these stores' clearance sections are looking now in mid February since mid January is usually when all stores are trying to clearance all of their old stuff but it doesn't hurt to give these places a look now or just keep in mind for next year or the next half of the year (mid-July) when stores clearance a lot of stuff again.

So first, Bed Bath and Beyond - I rarely even step foot in here and I just went in to get a bottle of goo gone but I saw that they had a huge clearance section for Christmas stuff as well as beauty items and housewares with an extra 50% or 75% off!

Originally I bought two bottles of shampoo, but at the register the cashier told me I could stack coupons on clearanced items so I'm like....I'll be back haha. My dad always keeps a stack of BB&B coupons because they technically never expire, so hold on to them!! They always either have a 20% off single item or $5 off  $15, so I grabbed one of the latter, and returned the next week to return what I bought and buy more stuff to be able to use the coupon.

The end result:
-3 bottles of Yes to Blueberries body wash
-2 bottles of Yes to Cucumbers shower gel
-1 bottle of Pacifica tuscan blood orange body wash
-1 Bottle Ahava oil makeup remover
-2 plastic tablecloths for my mom (not pictured)

Everything was already really cheap, mostly all $6 with an extra 75% so around $1.50 but with the $5 off $15 coupon, IT WAS INSANEEEE!!

My total ended up being $14.98 and I was like "oh no!!! I didn't reach the $15 for the coupon" and was filled with dread because I thought I had perfectly calculated everything but the cashier told me that as long as it is within 22 cents of the cut off it's fine (for example a purchase of $14.88 would've sufficed) and I was like HOORAY!! and my total ended up being $10.84 for 9 items

Also, all of the beauty items here are sulfate and paraben free which is something I've been trying to look for in future products that I purchase so an extra bonus!

And these are just two things I picked up from Target - a Bare Republic SPF 30 spray sunscreen for $3.98 and a Little Seed Farm charcoal soap for $1.50!! You always need sunscreen in the summer so why not stock up before then on ones on clearance? The sunscreen is paraben free and the soap is also paraben, gluten and GMO free with no animal testing.

These brands are just getting better and better, especially with the increase in demand with more transparency in our products and how they are made. It's also great knowing that it's possible to try out these more premium products at a low price if you look hard enough at the right times!

Aerie Blanket Scarf Review - Buff and Holiday Red

Saturday, February 21, 2015

It has seriously been FREEZING over here and decided it was finally time to do something about it... and the perfect solution were these blanket scarves!! Aerie was having a sale and they were $10 a piece! I ordered 4 and got a $10 off $40 coupon, so they were only $7.50 each! I returned the other ones and decided to keep the one in Buff, and gave the Holiday Red one to my roommate.

They're super huge and soft and oh so warm. They're also really versatile and can be worn in a gazillion ways so YAY!

For my outfit, I wore the scarf as a shawl and paired it with complimenting colors found in the scarf and decided to roll with that

red crop top - keds (macy's)
cream cardigan - forever21 $12
fleece joggers - urban outfitters $6
brown riding boots (not pictured) sorry!

They're not on sale anymore, but definitely check them out or other places for blanket scarves! Stay warm lovelies xx

January Haulin' : Shoes + Bags + Accessories

Sunday, January 11, 2015

(Enzio Angiolini) Ellerby $69
(Sam Edelman) Loren $90

My two new beautiful babies :')
These are my first two pairs of riding boots and I am absolutely IN LOVE. I have pretty small calves/skinny legs and these fit perfect. On the left is walnut brown pair that I got at the clearance section at Nordstrom rack. On the right is a tan pair that I ordered online on Amazon and they were a steal! This pair features a 2inch heel and the leather on these is so nice and soft and supple. I'm afraid of wearing them because the leather is easily scratched, but I know I can't just admire them in my closet for forever haha.
Also, I got a $10 rebate from my amazon purchase through Ebates - which I HIGHLY recommend if you are a frequent online shopper. You can sign up through my link here. It's super quick and easy and FREE to sign up and you get a free $10 giftcard when you do! For each of your online orders, you get a percentage back, and they send you a check at the end of each period. Honestly, nothing to lose, and if you decide not to use it, you'll still get that giftcard!

From American Eagle, I got these gold dorsay flats for $15! They'll class up any outfit and I can't wait to start wearing them when the weather warms up.

              Kate Spade Red Travel Bag
           Kate Spade Red Travel Bag

At Marshalls, they were having a hugeee clearance sale, with already reduced red tag items reduced even MORE with yellow tags. I decided to pick up this Kate Spade packable travel duffel bag. It's selling online for $100-$150, and it was marked down from $100 to only $50! I needed a duffel bag for the longest time and this is perfect. The hardware and leather detailings are perfect and it's just super cute and roomy.

At TJMaxx, I got this backpack (Adrienne Vitadinni) for only $30! It's really expensive looking and it's meant to be used for travel (hence the luggage tag) but I'm planning on just using it for school. The inside is lined with a bright red lining and the gold hardware is super elegant.

At Century21, I got the Stacy wallet from Kate Spade!! It wasn't on clearance, but it was a pretty good deal for $50. The patterns and colors are simple and cute. Little details like the tan lining and the bow zipper add a special touch to the wallet. The pattern kind of reminds me of little lemons haha. The card and money slots are a bit tight though, but hopefully they'll loosen up within time. Also, with the card slots completely filled up, it does get a little bulky. But this wallet was the perfect size and had a lot of slots which I liked, and the zipper compartment on the back is perfect for my spare change~

I was shopping around Soho with a friend and decided to pop into Topshop, even though I wasn't expecting much. They're sale section was CRAZY though. I didn't look too much into the clothes, but the jewelry section was amazing. Everything was 75% off, along wtih BOGO!! I was on the lookout for statement necklaces for a while and decided to pick these 2 up. Both were originally $30 each, but I got them both for $7.50! I honestly couldn't believe it - even cheaper than stuff you would find at Forever21.
The first one I chose was this super bold jeweled statement piece. I loved the colors and the shapes, and it wasn't not too big and tacky like most statement necklaces.
The second one I picked was a beautiful floral choker. The little rhinestone flowers have crystals dangling from the bottom and it's going to be perfect for the spring.

And that concludes my haul! This time around the year (mid January) is probably the BEST time to shop because stores are trying to clear their inventory for the upcoming items for the next season. Pretty much every store is having a sale so be on the look out :)

November Outfits

Tuesday, November 11, 2014

Hello everyone :) I have a couple of outfits this month  to show you guys and I hope you like em!

Outfit #1: Oversized cardigan

I've been seeing these huge cardigans around lately and have been wanting one - they just look so COZY and perfect to bum around in

I got mine at Aeropostale for $4(!!!) and it has this beautiful crazy knit pattern. It hits the back of my knees and feels like a blanket with sleeves haha

I wore it with a cropped black swing tank from h&m ($1) and my navy high waisted skinnies from Aero as well ($15) I tried to make my outfit very plain so the cardigan could really pop!
Outfit #2: Sleek Black

I wore this outfit to an event because I didn't feel like going all out in a dress and strappy heels. I'm wearing this super soft fuzzy sweater from JCPenney ($8). Unfortunately I accidently put it in the dryer and it basically just melted and my heart broke :'(

I wore it with the same skinnies as before, along with these simple black booties from JCPenney as well ($20).

Outfit #3: Fun in the Sun

Literally, the last nice and warm day of the fall season.. before we are tortured with months of coldness and gray skies.

-cotton on cardigan - $11
-hollister white tank
-billabong pants - $9
These pants are really light and airy and they're sooo perfect for just lounging around. Gives a really laid back and cali vibe
-old navy flip flops
-brandy melville john galt backpack

October Outfits

Monday, October 20, 2014

Hello Lovelaysss! Back with some more outfits I wore this week in October! There were some unusually warm days which called for spontaneously cute outfits :) Enjoy!

Outfit #1: Classy + Casual

It was pleasantly warm this day so I decided to bring back out my dresses.
I have on a light denim wash dress from h&m ($10) and threw a sweater over it from Brandy melville ($9) to stay warmer.
I paired this outfit with my brand new pair of flats from American Eagle ($15) They're pointed dorsays with a metallic gold tip and I can't wait to get more wear out of them next spring

Outfit #2: A feminine touch

I've been wearing a lot of neutral colors this semester, and I think it's cause I finally realized how ridiculous I looked when I would try to wear crazy colors and patterns back in high school. Sometimes it's just nice to look simple.

Cotton on cardigan - $11
Aeropostale lace tunic - $9
Gap leggings - these babies are SUPER thick and I wear them to death. I suggest investing in a good pair of leggings instead of those cheap see-through ones.
American eagle combat boots

Outfit # 3: Business Casual

Just decided to dress up more maturely for the hell of it and wanted to experiment with layering.

White tank top
American eagle dress shirt
F21 boucle blazer - $8
Gap leggings

I'll try to remember wearing shoes in my outfits.. I'm just really used to walking around barefoot haha #asiansincollege

and please excuse these awkward mirror selfies! I have no other way of getting a quick picture in and my mirror is stupidly narrow -_-

So besides all of that, I hoped you guys enjoyed! Until next time
